Police exhume slain NIPA student’s body

Police have exhumed the body of slain 19 year old NIPA Student, Ruth Mbandu, in the ongoing probe to find her killers.
Ruth was on Saturday brutally murdered in Lusaka`s Emmasdale area.
The deceased had her face removed, leaving only her hair and teeth before the murderers dumped her body at one of the houses in the area.
A combined team of police, Military police, medical experts and relatives this morning exhumed her body to get samples to help with investigations.
The process was done amid tight security and journalists were not allowed to film.
Meanwhile Ruth Mbandu’s mother Victoria has continued pleading with police to release her brother who was picked up by police on Wednesday to help with investigations.

On Wednesday police picked up Ruth’s uncle, aunt and a named Bishop to help with police investigations.
