Police looking for Kabimba’s criminal gang of Chumbwe and others over PF deaths

Police are belatedly looking for the criminal gang led by Lusaka Province PF Chairman Geoffrey Chumbwe, Youth Chairperson Kennedy Kamba, and a Mwila in connection with yesterday’s machete fight  that resulted in the death of about four PF cadres with others sustaining serious injuries.

Police sources say by last night, the Chuumbwe gang had fled back to Chongwe where the whole plan was schemed but armed and financed by Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba and Post newspaper owner Fred Mmembe.

Highly placed sources say part of the planning was that the highly trained and armed pro-Kabimba group had put on white t’shirts for ease identification and were camped at Chumbwe’s residence in Chongwe.

The Chuembwe gang  belong to the most favoured PF ‘A’ team of Guy Scott, Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba, Post newspaper owner Fred Mmembe and president Michael Sata himself together with Kenneth Kaunda and Chieftainess Nkomesha.
Recently, Guy Scott announced that the PF wrangles were over, but unknown to the dull Geoffrey Mwamba camp, the Kabimba group was busy arming themselves.,

Chumbwe  has a history of violent bank robbery that happened in 1991 at the now defunct Meridian BIO at COMESA Secretariate.

Meanwhile, there has been a huge media conspirancy to down play the events of yesterday in the PF allied newspapers Times of Zambia, Zambia Daily Mail that have completely ignored the story despite the massive disruption it caused in Lusaka City with the Post only highly a few details blaming the other camp for the violence.
