Police pursue PPP Director Keeta for corruption

The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) are pursuing
Keeta Shisholeka, the Director of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Unit, Ministry of Finance.

The Watchdog understands that Shisholeka will be jointly charged with Road Safety and Transport Agency boss Zindaba Soko and other people.

As PPP Director, Keeta coordinates with all contracting authorities in respect of project development and identifies inter-sectoral linkages, while overseeing the competitive procurement processes for PPP projects. Keeta also provides advisory services to PPP Project Officers.

In short, he is the one who receives bribes to grant PPA projects to businessmen who bid highest into his pockets.

Before being appointed PPA director, He was in charge of procurement at the Road Development Agency during the infamous Willie Nsanda day.

On Zindaba Soko, the Watchdog understands that investigators are ready to arrest as they have concluded their probe but Soko has been struggling with extreme high blood pressure from the time he was first questioned.
