Police say they are ready to arrest GBM

The police have written to Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mutembo Nchito informing him that they have completed investigations and it is time to arrest GBM and his daughter.
According to documents obtained by the Watchdog from the Office of the Mutembo Nchito’s desk, GBM is will anytime to be arrested for alleged Abuse of authority of Office and disobedience of statutory duty by not declaring interest in a tender to supply ZESCO poles.
The document signed by a SM.Tembo the Assistant Director Legal at the Zambia Police says though GBM was not a director in Arizona Marketing at the time the tender was awarded, he was supposed to declare interest.
The Police also intend to arrest GBM’s daughter Thandiwe for alleged procuring the execution of document by false pretences. Thandiwe is alleged to have procured documents from Border Timber in Zimbabwe which she used to tender for a contract at ZESCO.
