After failing to gain entry to the UPND headquarters Monday afternoon, heavily armed police returned to the opposition camp by 05 hours Tuesday morning.
UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma confirmed that over 100 police officers had surrounded the party secretariat before any employ could get there this morning.
Police have also have also closed Lagos Road and are restricting entry to the opposition party headquarters.
On Monday the police working under instructions from government officials failed to search the UPND offices after lawyers discovered that the search warranty was defective as it had no details like address of premisses to be searched.
This annoyed PF government officials who ordered that fresh warranty be issued around midnight.
The police are said to be looking for seditious material. The so-called seditious material is merely a list of PF government ministers, permanemt secretaries, State House staff and other public officials in the PF regime.
The document points out that more than 90 per cent of these officials are from one province of the country.
But police sources say there is another document authored by PF government agents which the police want to plant at the UPND secretariat or one of the party officials .
