Non-Governmental Coordinating Council (NGOCC) Board Chairperson Beatrice Grillo has bemoaned the current trend by of campaigns where political parties are not stating what they will do for the country.
In an interview Grillo said politicians should outline their plans and tell the nation how they will be carried out.
She said it is vital to know what developmental programs have been set for key sectors such as health and education.
Meanwhile, National Women’s Lobby Information Secretary Nelson Banda has challenged political parties to adopt more female candidates ahead of forthcoming elections.
Banda said if women are adopted they will make a difference as they have motherly love and a heart for the people.
He further appealed to political parties to consider females to stand on parliamentary seats as women have done well in position making in the past.
