Post that refuses to pay K14bn, drags news vendors to court over Kr180

The Post Newspapers has dragged two Newspapers Vendors to court for theft of 60 copies of the Post Newspapers valued at KR180.

According to yesterday’s Post Edition Christopher Mumba 28 of George Compound and Enerst Mutale 30 of Matero Compound are appearing before Lusaka Magistrate Betty Malupenga who is Information Permanent Secretary, Amos Malupenga’s wife.

The Post Newspapers that in itself stands accused of fraudulently obtained K14 Billion from the Development Bank of Zambia now wants ‘equality’ before the law by demanding that others pay them what they are owed.

High Court Judge Nigel Mutuna ruled that the money was fraudulently obtained by the Post Newspaper.

The Post Newspapers has so far refused to pay.
