Potential Clash between UNZA Students and PF cadres looms

A potential crash between Univerisity of Zambia Students and Patriotic Front cadres is looming. This follows PF cadres threats that they will storm the National Assembly Chambers this afternoon if opposition Members of Parliament continue disrupting parliamentary proceedings while calling for enactment of the new constitution. But some UNZA students who demostrated last night over delayed payment of Project and Meal allowances also threatened to storm parliament buildings to sort out the PF cadres if ever they went to parliament.

“We hear this stupid fool called Kennedy Kamba threatening Members of Parliament. We actually saw him on ZNBC TV issuing threats where does he get the audacity from. We want to warn Kamba and his cadres that should they storm parliament, we shall also storm parliament let us see who is going to win” some students told the Zambian Watchdog.

Yesterday Lusaka Province Patriotic Front Youth Chairperson Kennedy Kamba threatened that PF cadres will storm parliament buildings and sort out opposition MP’s who will disrupt parliament proceedings. Last week opposition MP’s disrupted parliamentary proceeding twice asking for a road map to constitution making process.
