Power cuts leaves National Milling in ashes

National Milling Corporation’s oil plant was on Thursday night burnt down due to the on-going power cuts.

Insiders explained to the Watchdog the fire started at night when electricity supply was abruptly cut but restored in the middle of the night at high voltage. The restoration at high voltage caused the fire. One vehicle and a truck were also destroyed. Fire brigade watched haplessly as the plant burnt to ashes.
