President Lungu accuses Musa Mwenye of attacking Judiciary

Outgoing President Edgar Lungu has accused former Attorney General Musa Mwenye of attacking the Zambian judiciary in a foreign country.
Musa Mwenye’s client Dominic Lungowe has sued Konkola Copper Mines-KCM- in a London High court on account that the Zambian judiciary was not trusted.
But President Lungu claimed this morning (Tuesday) that the development is unfortunate especially that Mr Mwenye is a senior member of the Zambian bar who has ‘attacked’ the Zambian judiciary in a foreign country.
President Lungu has since stated that he is consulting with the State House legal team and Chief Justice Ireen Mambilima over the matter in which Mr Mwenye has called into ‘question’ the integrity of the Zambian judiciary.
Lungu also wants to complain to the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) against the former Attorney General.
