President Lungu is today flying to Namibia in his continued roving round countries amid worsening economic challenges in Zambia.
According to a statement released by Zambia’s High Commissioner to Namibia Silvia Chalikosa, President Lungu is expected to attend a dinner this evening.
Chalikosa said President Lungu has been invited by his Namibian counterpart to officiate at Namibia’s Heroes Day in remembrance of heroes who died during the freedom struggle which is commemorated on 26th August.
He will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba.
Several opposition leaders have in the past called on President Lungu to reduce on foreign trips and concentrate on addressing the economic challenges that the country is facing under the PF leadership.
