LIUTEBM University is registered to offer academic degrees under The Ministry of Higher Education and regulated by the Higher Education Authority (HEA).
It is misleading and mischievous as well as unfounded and incorrect information for TEVETA to misinform the public about Livingstone International University at a media breakfast by their Director General Mr. David Chakota as quoted by Times of Zambia on Tuesday 27th June, 2017 on page 2 Titled “TEVETA deregistered 32 Institutions”.
We have never offered any TEVETA Programmes at our University since
inception and we do not intend to in the near future. We are not regulated by TEVETA.
We cannot register or renew any membership with TEVETA because we have nothing to do with them and their programmes which are not academic degrees.
We will appreciate if TEVETA can retract and apologise in the next two days to correct the wrong impression that has been created to the
reputation of the University and its staff.
Short of which proceedings will be commenced to be sited for defamation, malice, professional
sabotage, distortion, misinformation, and misleading the University communities and the population. It has caused a lot of misgivings and emotional pain to the University, current, past, future students and professionals.
The reputation of the University has suffered tremendous distress and pain!
Professor Patrick Kalifungwa
Vice Chancellor – LIUTEBM University
