Public Service Drivers in Chingola have blocked roads leading to other towns in protesting against the poor state of roads in the town.

The drivers have blocked Fern Avenue and  Kitwe Road along 13th Street using tyres and logs.

Motorists are being turned away.

Management at KCM has since placed notices advising and warning their employees of the protests in town

KCM has advised people and its employees that those going to Kitwe and Chingola Town centre should  use 4th Street/Consort Street or other alternative routes.

Chingola was once rated as the cleanest town in Zambia.
