Rand catches up with depreciating Kwacha

The Kwacha has massively lost value this week.
One US Dollar is fetching K15, 000 in private bureaux de change and K14, 800 in commercial banks.

And the South African Rand has for the first time since the Zambia Kwacha was rebased traded 1 to 1 with the Kwacha.

Iam loving this….more cash in my pockets. Let the kwacha even depreciate further..! One man’s poison is another man’s cup of tea. Stop complaining and take advantage of the depreciation of kwacha and cash more. Stop importing….. embrace export…simple. Dollar salary workers must be celebrating and praying for further depreciation of kwacha. Stop being a crying baby, find something to do and take advantage of the current situation and cash more….! Be positive always

And then the corrupt PF and the greedy Edgar China Lungu want to borrow $ 1.3 BILLION from the IMF so they can line their already golden pockets even more. And the economy can go even further down the drain.
