Malcolm Moffat Teachers College principal Maxwell Sikwela has bribed Central province Deputy Criminal Investigations Officer (2nd DCIO) only known as Timba and a sergeant Vincent Sikainda of Serenje police station with K10,000 and K5,000 respectively while two other female officers shared K5,000 to shield him from being arrested for sexual assault and threatening violence on a student and her husband.
This follows Barbra Singombe’s refusal to have her passing exams in exchange for sex with Sikwela.
After Sikwela’s multiple sexual activities with single and married students who he enticed with leaked exams was exposed by this publication, he has targeted Barbra as being the source of the leak and has been sending life threatening messages to her and her husband. In one message from his mobile number +260977329500, the randy principal warns Barbra that ‘when you come to Serenje you will go back as a corpse like the other student’ while in the other one he writes ‘when are we going to have sex’.
Police sources have told the Watchdog that the couple has reported the death threats to Kabwe central police and an officer was allocated to investigate the matter but Timba grabbed the file and has since allocated it to another ‘user friendly’ officer while Sikainda and two other female police officers from Serenje have been directed to plant incriminating materials on the Barbra and her husband so that she be punished for objecting to Sikwela’s sexual advances.
Sikwela paid the corrupt police officers after he withdrew K25,000 from his Barclays Bank account held at Kabwe branch. While the anti Corruption Commission has been tipped about this matter, Sikwela is hereby challenged to deny this, we will reproduce the withdrawal slip and the chain of text messages he has been sending.
