President Rupiah Banda says he is praying for the widow and family of Ken Ngondo, President of the opposition All Peoples Congress Party. Ngondo a former UNIP MP for Chipata central died Monday morning in Lusaka.
“Our prayers go to you and the entire family during the difficult time. We pray that the almighty God gives you the strength to endure the pain of loss,” President Banda said in a letter of condolences to the widow Charity and the bereaved family.
According to Rupiah Banda, the death of Ngondo is not only a loss to his family but the entire nation. He claimed that Ngondo contributed greatly to the development of the nation through various positions he held in both private and public sector.
