Rupiah Banda submits list of appointments to Lungu

Former President Rupiah Banda has drawn up a comprehensive list of new appointments as Permanent Secretaries (PSs), District Commissioners (DCs), and diplomats.

Highly placed sources from within the PF government at Cabinet Office have revealed that three quarters of appointments that have so far been recommended to replace the current crop of PSs, DCs, and Diplomats, are actually Rupiah Banda’s nominations.

“In fact, when Rupiah is done with these appointments, it will be the last nail in the complexion of any semblance of late Michael Sata’s vision of PF government. Unless with your expose, but Lungu has already not renewed a number of contracts for PSs, Diplomats, and DCs,” a source close to the scrutinizing committee has revealed.

Sources say the appointment committee working with State House Aid, Lucky Mulusa consider Sata’s people and government as just a bunch of corrupt people.

Lungu is likely to make the new appointments soon after meeting Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe where he has gone.

“In fact, the next stage will be the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Drug Enforcement Commission to start following late Sata’s people, even close family members, as possible revenge to what Sata did to Rupiah Banda’s people,” sources revealed.

Sources said Annie Sinyangwe, who was a very close niece to late Sata who has so far been already arrested is just an experiment as more will follow her.

Sources said that’s why Lungu was quick to dismiss the likes of Lands PS, Inutu Suba, who had a child with late Sata.

“And to date that Ministry of Lands has had no PS for almost three months which is a huge anomaly. Can you imagine that key ministry not having a controlling officer for such a long period of time,” sources revealed.
