RB to hold his last Copperbelt rally in Ndola Friday

President Rupiah Banda is Friday expected in Ndola where he is scheduled to address his last public rally on the Copperbelt before next week’s tripartite elections.

On Saturday, President Banda will hold his last rally in Lusaka.

His spokesperson Dickson Jere explained that, ‘as he has consistently done since officially launching his re-election campaign on August 1, President Banda is expected to share with the Copperbelt residents the five-year seven-point plan through which he intends to deliver development to all Zambians.’

Jere said the President will also demonstrate why Zambian people should, once again, entrust him with the leadership of the country he has led since November 2008 when he assumed office in a Presidential by-election.

‘The President will be accompanied to the Copperbelt by senior MMD officials and members of his campaign team.

‘He is expected back in Lusaka after concluding the scheduled business’.
