RB to meet Mutharika in Eastern province



President  Rupiah Banda will tomorrow,  September 4, 2009 leave for a two-day working visit to Eastern Province where he is expected to be joined by his Malawian counterpart Mbingu Wa Mutharika, State House spokesperson Dickson Jere has revealed.

President Banda and  Mutharika will on Saturday attend the Kulamba Traditional Ceremony of the Chewa People of Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia in Katete District at Paramount Chief Kalonga Gawa Undi’s area.

President Banda will be accompanied by his wife Thandiwe Banda, Works and Supply Minister Mike Mulongoti and Education Minister Dora Siliya, MP.

The President and his delegation will return to Lusaka immediately after completing his scheduled business in Eastern Province.
