President Rupiah Banda Tuesday sent a message of condolences to the family of the late Home Affairs Deputy Minister Misheck Bonshe, MP, who passed away while in Nigeria early this week.
In his message, President Banda said he learnt of the death of Honourable Bonshe with a deep sense of sorrow and sadness. The late Honourable Bonshe was a Member of Parliament for Mufumbwe Constituency in North-Western Province.
President Banda said Honourable Bonshe was one of the dedicated members of his Government and a committed Member of Parliament for the ruling Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) who served the nation and his constituency with distinction.
President Banda said Government and the people of Zambia will remember the late deputy Minister as a true patriot who served his constituency and the country with dignity and hard work.
The President has wished the bereaved family God’s guidance and strength as they shoulder the heavy loss of their loved one.
