RDA pays Finnish firm to teach Zambian villagers about malaria

The Road Development Agency (RDA) has paid a Private Company from Finland in excess of US$60, 000 to sensitise villagers along the Nakonde – Chinsali road in malaria and HIV/AIDS.

The government borrowed money to rehabilitate that road but RDA decided that Zambians along that road should also be sensitised on communicable diseases such as malaria and HIV: AIDS.

The RDA further decided that this sensitisation should be done by a Finnish Company but paid for by tax payers and borrowed money.

And RDA will be paying this Finnish h company every quarter until the end the rehabilitation of the road.

Do these visitors from Sweden understand the social issues of our villagers in Chinsali, Nakonde and Isoka much better than our local sociologists? Okay forget that but take a look at those thousands of dollars being paid!!
