IMG_20160312_113759 IMG_20160312_114031Kitwe’s Chimwemwe Catholic Priest, Father Tresfor Mutale has advised the UPND President to restore order and sanity in the country if elected as Republican President.

Father Mutale, who during and after Mass called for dialogue on how violence can be stopped in the country, added that the main reason people are attacking each other is a result of poverty.

Meanwhile, UPND President Hakainde Hichilema says only President Lungu has the instruments to stop the violence currently happening in the country.

He called on the Church to urgently ask President Lungu to stop the violence and police brutality underway, charging that often times the President has refused to listen to the opposition’s calls on the matter.

The UPND President reassured those he met that once elected as President he will ensure that Christianity is upheld in Zambia both in faith and deed.
