The Southern African Railways Association (SARA), will hold this year’s Multilateral Workshop in Zambia to be hosted by Railway Systems of Zambia (RSZ) tomorrow at Hotel Inter-Continental.
The two day annual gathering brings together railway companies in the SADC region aimed at improving the performance of the Corridor Management Groups.
RSZ Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Even said in a statement issued by the company’s Deputy General Manager for Corporate Affairs Charles Phiri today that the railway company feels honoured to have been mandated by SARA to host the regional workshop.
He said Chief Executive Officers from railway companies in the SADC region and their representatives were expected to attend the two-day workshop which will be held at Hotel Inter-Continental in Lusaka.
Mr Even said RSZ had also invited a CEO from one of their major clients to give a talk, among the other dignitaries that have been invited from across the Southern African Region.
“We are happy that SARA has requested us to host the regional workshop which is aimed at sharing ideas on how to improve the performance of the Corridor Management Groups within the railways,” said Mr Even.
