RTSA suspends Mazhandu operating licence

The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has suspended the operating licence for Mazhandu Family Bus Services.
This follows Tuesdays accident involving a Mazhandu bus which resulted in the death of ten people.
RTSA Chief Executive Officer Zindaba Soko has told a media briefing in Lusaka that the Agency has been forced to suspend the licence due to the poor safety record for Mazhandu Family Bus Services.
This is the second time in a year that Mazhandu’s operating licence has been suspended
Mazhandu has been involved in 10 accidents in the past 12 months.
