Sakeni admits corruption is high under PF, asks church to intervene

Information and Broadcasting Services Minister Kennedy Sakeni  has admitted the high corruption levels in the country under the PF government but  says the Church and Faith Based Organisations must play an important role in the fight agains the vice.

Sakeni said the church must however endeavour to partner with government to ensure that the high corruption levels in the country are reduced by spreading moral messages to help people to change their mischievous attitudes.

The minister was speaking in Lusaka today in a speech read on his behalf by Acting Director for Planning, Press and Public Relations Samson Kaluba at the presentation ceremony of E-Bibles to 65 trained Pastors donated by the Heritage of Faith Christian Church.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sakeni has thanked the Heritage of Faith Christian Church for supplementing government efforts through the provision of education, food and clothing to the vulnerable in society.
