Sakwiba grabs client’s farms

Lusaka Lawyer Sakwiba Sikota has grabbed a farm from Maxwell Mwale, a former Minister of Mines in the MMD government over Legal Fees.

Meanwhile, Sikota through his law firm has also sued former Sikongo Member of Parliament Mundia Ndalamei demanding K320000 in legal bills.

Sikota, together with Makebi Zulu now Eastern Province Minister represented Mr. Mwale during his trial over alleged abuse of office of authority during the time he served as Minister of Mines.

Mr. Sikota instead gave Mr. Mwale a huge bill which he has failed to settle.

Mr. Sikota has since grabbed the farm along Mumbwa road in Lusaka West.

Mr. Mwale bought the farm from former Director General of Intelligence in MMD government Regis Phiri.

Meanwhile, the Mast Newspaper in its Edition of October 8.2017 reports that Mr. Sakwiba Sikota through his law firm Central Chambers is demanding K320000 from Mr. Ndalamei for representing him in an election petition.

Mr. Sikota claims Mr. Ndalamei was billed K450000 and a balance of K320000 is outstanding.

Sakwiba Sikota is infamous for such activities. He once offered first president Kenneth Kaunda legal services while giving the impression that he was doing it pro bono (free). He later gave KK a bill he knew he could not settle then went for his property.
