Sata asked to fire BOZ governor Gondwe and Finance minister Chikwanda

Ailing dictator has been asked to fire Bank of Zambia governor Dr. Michael Gondwe and Finance minister Alexander Chikwanda because of the free falling Zambian kwacha which has abnormally raised the cost of doing business in the country.

The call to fire the duo was made by opposition Republican Progressive Party president James Lukuku during the party’s strategic mobilization meeting for the 2016 elections.

“We now want to advise President Michael Sata, and our advise is that President Sata must fire BOZ governor Dr. Michael Gondwe and Finance minister Alexander Chikwanda because they seem not to have the country at heart,” said Lukuku.

Under the PF regime the Kwacha has reached record depreciation levels and has continued to decline against world major currencies but government seems unconcerned with the state, leading to it being rated as one of the world’s worst performing currencies last month.
