Patriotic Front president Michael is on a campaign tour of the Southern province.
The Watchdog understands that Sata Wednesday afternoon addressed a rally in Mazabuka and spoke at a local radio station, Maz FM.
Sata is expected to be in Monze Thursday for more campaigns.
He will later travel to Choma but it is not yet clear if he will proceed to other towns and villages or will be campaigning along the line of rail.
Last week Sata was in North-western province where people who attended his rallies said he failed to break even.
He only managed to hold poorly attended rallies in towns like Solwezi and Mufumbwe and was in the area for only four days.
