Ailing dictator Mchael Sata this (Thursday) morning continued shaking his unstable government this time by swearing-in former UPND MP for Livingstone Constituency, Howard Sinkwela, as new Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Housing while Chilufya Mulenga who was at Local Government has again been ‘demoted’ to be PS in Eastern province.
Eastern province PS Bates Mushala has now been shunted to Southern Province while the current PS there Bernard Namachila has been booted out into the streets to join an army of many other unemployed Zambians.
The changes are with immediate effect and the Watchdog undertands that Mr. Sikwala has already taken oath at State House this morning, the only thing we don’t know at the moment is how president Sata behaved and said during the swearing-in ceremony where he always directs his anger at opposition leaders.
Just last week, the endless reshuffles saw Information and Broadcasting PS, Amos Malupenga, being ‘demoted’ to the volatile region of Western province while Emmanual Mwamba was promoted as new Information and Broadcasting PS.
This week, the endless reshuffles continued when Sata, who cheated he would dearly and greatly miss late Information Minister Kennedy Sakeni, could hardly wait for the funeral to finish but hurriedly replaced him with his relative, Mwansa Kapeya, whose CV is being a leading actor in the ZNBC Bemba radio Ifyabukaya programme.
There is so far no job for Kabwata MP Given Libinda, but there are plenty of vacancies at deputy ministerial level among them those left by Mwansa Kapeya, Harry Kalaba in the Office of Guy Scott, and Davies Mwila who resigned over differences with Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba as his deputy.
