President Michael Sata has dissolved the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) Board citing that it has caused suffering in the lives of some Zambians.
The head of state, who was speaking at state house disclosed that he ensure the organization is investigated to have knowledge of issues concerning ZAWA and reconstitute it later.
Meanwhile, President Sata called for the removal of all Movement for Multi party Democracy (MMD) cadres from the public and foreign service of Zambia.
The President noted that the public service is meant to serve the citizens regardless of political affiliation and not for the benefit of certain individuals.
President Sata further said the cadres are like cobwebs that must be wiped away as when their party is out of office they end up pledging allegiance to corruption which adversely affects development.
