Sata fires Foreign Affairs Minister

Ailing dictator Michael Sata has fired Foreign Affairs Minister, Effron Lungu.

He gave no reasons for firing him but has replaced him with Lands Minister Wilbur Simuusa, according to a statement issued by George Chellah.

He didn’t say who the new minister of Lands would be.

This is the first time in two weeks that Sata is heard to be doing something.

The firing of Lungu comes amid speculations that something is not right at State House.

Security was tightened at State House Monday evening.

Around 23 hours, Monday August 12, 2013, a number of ministerial vehicles were seen driving into State House amid the tight security.
