President Michael Sata has with immediate effect terminated the appointment of Livingstone Central Member of Parliament Lukulo Katombora as Southern Province Minister.
The Watchdog exclusively revealed that Katombora confessed being a devil worshipper and that he once practiced some dark world activities in his life.
Katombora who is opposition MMD Livingstone Central MP made the confession during a church service at Tabernacle of Glory Church, being administered by Pastor Joseph Kaluba.
Sata has since transferred Lusaka Province Minister Miles Sampa to Southern Province in the same capacity.
And President Sata has appointed Kanyama Patriotic Front (PF) Member of Parliament Gerry Chanda as Lusaka Province Minister.
The President has also appointed Mwansabombwe PF MP Rodgers Mwewa as the new Minister of the Copperbelt Province.
Mr. Mwewa replaces John Kufuna who the Head of State says will be allocated a new ministry in a little while.
This is contained in a press statement made available to ZANIS in Lusaka today by President Sata’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations George Chellah.
Meanwhile, President Sata has appointed three opposition MMD MPs as deputy ministers.
These include Mwinilunga West MP, Elijah Muchima, Mufumbwe MP, Stephen Masumba and Isaac Banda of Lumezi who President Sata says will be allocated ministries shortly.
“I would like to advise my colleagues who have been appointed to ensure they work to the satisfaction of the Zambia people. We must guard against any form of abuse of state resources. Let us manage people’s resources in the most transparent and accountable manner”, Mr. Sata said.
