Sata has turned UTH into a death trap-Siliya

Former Petauke Central Member of Parliament Dora Siliya has accused President Michael Sata of turning the country’s highest referral hospital the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) into a death trap.
Ms. Siliya has also challenged President Sata to come out of State House and visit the UTH.
Ms. Siliya is quoted in today’s edition of the Daily Nation as saying the sacking of nurses has left not only the UTH but many other health institutions in a very bad state of affairs.
“It is only prudent for President Sata to find time and visit UTH and see how the hospital has degenerated into a death trap and instead of spending time politicking and arresting individuals for criticising government” she said.
She said Sata should be bold enough to walk out of State house and go to UTH.
“I urge Mr. Sata to show quality leadership as he claims to be man of action and solve the crisis in all hospitals and clinics by reinstating all sacked nurses. The current situation is ugly. When something it’s wrong it’s wrong. Pretending that all is well is not good at all,” she said.
