President Michael Sata says the fight against Corruption which the Patriotic Front government has championed is not selective but will be done professionally.
And President Sata has called on Zambian to resist, reject and report all corrupt activities.
Mr Sata says that Corruption is a cancer that retards development and breeds poverty.
He says that anyone engaged in corrupt activities will be dealt severely by the law.
Mr Sata said this in a national address on ZNBC Television, to launch the Anti Corruption Week on Thursday.
The Anti-Corruption Week will be held under the theme ” Corruption Your No Counts”.
The President also called on the Civil Society Organisations and the Private sector to rise concern on the devastating effects of corruption.
Mr Sata also appealed to the Civil Society Organisations to double efforts and be vigilant towards corruption.
He says that he is convinced that the fight against corruption can put more money in people’s pockets.
