Patriotic Front leader Michael Sata has promised to restore the Barotseland agreement if he wins this year’ elections.

Sata said that the Barotseland agreement of 1964 is binding as it was duly signed by the then prime minister of Zambia Kenneth Kaunda, the Litunga and the British Empire.
He said that within 90 days of forming government, he will reconstruct the dilapidated roads in the province like the Limulunga, Kalabo road.
He also promised that his government will build a university in the province because there are few learning facilities in the area.
