Sata sends senile Solomon Mbuzi to France as ambassador

His Excellency president Michael Sata

Zambia’s new ambassador to France Solomon Mbuzi is too old to work and can hardly see.

Mbuzi, who was relieved of his duties as minister for Eastern province recently is of unknown age but is said to be in his 80s.

Mbuzi who uses a stick to walk was sworn in Monday, May 12, 2012.

Students at the diplomatic training institute where he somehow managed to go through have told the Watchdog that sometimes he could not find the class where lectures were conducted.

Students at the institute revealed that Mbuzi fails to recognise people even those who were in his class at the diplomatic Institute.

On October 6, 2011 when the MPs were voting for the current speaker, MPs called Solomon Mbuzi “ambuya!” as he made his way into parliament as nominated MP and minister for Eastern province.

To show how old Mbuzi is, the MPs who were calling him ‘grandfather are in their 50 and 60.

The parliamentarians remarked: “No weapons allowed here” in reference to Mbuzi’s walking stick.
