Sata tells Chibesakunda to nullify Lucky Mulusa’s seat as well

After failing to poison him the Patriotic Front has now asked the Acting Chief Justice to nullify Lucky Mulusa’s Solwezi Central Parliamentary seat.

According to sources from the Judiciary and the PF central committee, President Sata through Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has instructed embattled Acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda to nullify the Solwezi Central seat.

“Mulusa won the case in the High Court and also in the Supreme Court but Sata had directed that the Supreme court re-writes the judgement so Mulusa’s seat will be nullified” the source said.

Mulusa last month survived some food poisoning at Parliament Motel when an Officer of the President Special Branch operative by the name of Edwin put some poison in his drink. The Food and Drug Laboratory at the University Teaching Hospital confirmed the poisoning.

Mulusa also escaped a beating at BIGOCA Church in Matero and an abduction in the just ended Mkaika by-elections.

The sources say Wynter Kabimba en-route to Likumbi Lya Mize ceremony in Zambezi past through Solwezi and told Provincial PF officials that the Solwezi Central seat was going to be nullified.

“Wynter Kabimba was telling PF official that “we shall nullify Mulusa’s seat imagine he was using the word we” the source said.

Meanwhile a source close to the Solwezi Central Member of Parliament has told the Zambian Watchdog that Mulusa has indicated that he may not re-contest the seat once nullified under the influence of the Patriotic Front because he does not want to be part of the wastage.

“Mulusa has indicated that he will not re-contest the seat because he does not want to be part of the wastage. He believes the by-election will purely be influenced by the PF and he wants the general public to judge who is wasteful and who is not” the source said.

Efforts to get a comment from Mr.Lucky Mulusa failed as he was reported to be out of the country on parliamentary duties.
