President Michael Sata has told diplomats accredited to Zambia not to interfere in the country’s internal politics.
He says it will be embarrassing for a diplomat to be expelled on the basis of interfering with internal politics.
Sata also says Zambia has enjoyed good bilateral relations with countries across the world but has not exploited them.
Sata was speaking at State House when he received letters of credence from the Nigeria High Commissioner to Zambia Sifanu Inu-Umoru MoMoh, Germany’s Ambassador Bernd Finke and Somalian Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Daware.
President Sata says he is impressed that a Germany delegation will be visiting Zambia in a few months to look at possibilities of investing in various sectors of the economy.
And Sata has told diplomats who have a tendency of going to State House to see him to stop the habit.
He says diplomats should instead seek audience with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
