Sata to reshuffle diplomats over his illness and medical trips

President Michael Sata with First Lady Dr. Christine Kaseba leave for State House shortly after arriving at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport from Addis Ababa yesterday - Picture by Joseph MwendaThe illness of the  Zambian president will soon result in diplomatic reshuffles of Zambian High Commission to UK who will be moved to Nigeria on the recommendation of Justice Minister  Whynter Kabimba who is also acting Foreign Affairs Minister.

Kabimba has advised president Sata to recall or reshuffle Zambia’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Bizwayo Nkunika because he does not trust  Nkunika and some Easteners as the president will be expected to visit UK almost every two months for medication, a situation that may result in too much leakages.

Other than that, the PF leadership through Kabimba don’t trust Col. Nkunika because he is married to the former first lady Maureen Mwanawasa family.

Kabimba has also advised Sata to recall Zambia’s representative to China Gerald Nyirenda because China is a very focal mission as such only stooges should occupy the two missions.

Former Registrar of Societies, Clement Muhamed Andeleki is favoured for the posting to China after sacrificing his good job and attempted to stand as MP under PF in Livingstone bye-election.

Mr. Nyirenda is being recalled perhaps for good.

Sources also said Mr. Sata is poised to send his in-law, a Lt. Col. Tembo to India while Kabimba’s father-in-law is scheduled for recall from Ethiopia for good.
