Sata travels to New York

President Michael Sata is expected in New York for the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Sata is scheduled to arrive in New York today, for the Assembly whose theme ‘is setting the stage for the post-2015 development agenda’.

Zambia’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Mwaba Kasese-Bota, told Zambian journalists yesterday that the President will be accompanied by First Lady, Christine Kaseba-Sata, Foreign Affairs Minister, Wilbur Simuusa, Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister, Emmanuel Chenda and Minister of Community Development, Mother and Child Health, Joseph Katema.
