The United Party for National Development (UPND) has said that President Michael Sata will be held responsible for anything that might happen to the life of its leader Hakainde Hichilema following the head of state’s claims that the intelligence has infiltrated the UPND leader.
Special advisor to the president Douglas Syakalima said that the party was worried with the president’s pronouncements considering that its founding leader Anderson Mazoka died a mysterious death.
“When president Sata was national secretary of the MMD under Fredrick Chiluba he said that Mazoka should be eliminated at all cost and now he is president he tells us that HakaindeHichilema has been infiltrated , what does he mean? What has Sata said apart from what he has said. He will be answerable suppose Hakainde dies,” said Syakalima.
He said that president Sata should tell the Zambians how the UPND and Hichilema as a person has been infiltrated.
