Scott takes advantage of national tradegy to intesify bye-election campaigns

While the nation is mourning following the death of 54 people in a road accident along Great North Road yesterday, Vice President Guy Scot is in Livingstone campaigning for the forthcoming parliamentary bye-elections.

This is despite the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit which falls under the Vice President’s office converging an emergency meeting in Ndola and Lusaka.

According to ZNBC 13:15 Guy Scott is in Livingstone blasting at Civil Servants who do not want to implement PF policies.

ZNBC says Guy Scot will be meeting Party officials this afternoon before addressing a campaign rally tomorrow.

ZNBC also quotes disaster management unit coordinator Patrick Kangwa that urgent meetings are going ahead in Ndola and Lusaka.

In a normal country where leaders have morals, Vice President Scot could have called off his campaign trip to attend to the national tragedy never experienced before.

Meanwhile MMD President Mumba has called for citizens to pray hard so that God can open spiritual eyes to see why calamities have increased in the past months.

He said this when he visited survivors of the accident admitted to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka.
