Senanga MP Likando MufalalI has advised the PF government and its officials to remain quiet over the Barotseland agreement as their utterances were angering the people of the western province who feel betrayed by President Michael Sata.
The Senanga central lawmaker who is also UPND national Youth Chairman said utterances by PF secretary General, Wynter Kabimba on ZNBC television on Monday night were a sign of misplacement of ideas and ideologies by the ruling party and its officials.
He said the people in the western province were so disappointed with views expressed by Kabimba which border on indicating that the Lozi speaking were a small grouping whose anger would not have any negative impact on the country and its unity.
He said it was wrong to suggest that views by the few people from the Barotseland that currently occupy positions were a true reflection of the situation among the aggrieved parties and called on Kabimba to mind what he says or risk agitating the already volatile situation.
Mufalali added that the people of the Western Province are waiting for the final decision by the PF cabinet before their position known but was quick to add that the matter was far from being resolved hence the need for those in authority to remain quiet and avoid unnecessary acrimony.
