Senegal,Cameroun early arrival not our cost – FAZ

pongaFootball Association of Zambia – FAZ General Secretary Ponga Liwewe has said that his association will not be responsible for the accommodation and other costs of the under 20 foreign teams that will arrive earlier than 23rd February 2017 but Senegal and Cameroun have already jetted in and may have to meet the costs if FAZ goes ahead with their resolutions.

Speaking to journalists, Liwewe the son of veteran sports commentator Dennis said that budget has only been made for teams that will arrive on 23rd and thereafter for the Under 20 African cup of Champions tournament being hosted at Heroes and Mwanawasa stadia.

But some FAZ insiders have argued that FAZ has been given adequate resources to camp all the participating teams five days ahead of the tournament which kicks off on Sunday 26th February 2017.

Both Senegal and Cameroun have already arrived and some more teams are expected today.
