Siavonga man kills son over Nshima

A 31 year old man of Kalelezi village in Siavonga district has killed his two year old son over nshima.

Police sources and a relative to the deceased told ZANIS in Siavonga today that the man identified as Kedy Muyunivi, a fisherman, allegedly killed his son after discovering that he had eaten the nshima his wife had cooked for his lunch.

Sources indicated that the boy died due to deep cuts he sustained on his head after he was brutally beaten by his angry father.
The incident happened last week and that one of the suspect’s relative Timothy revealed that Muyunivi is on the run.

He said the accused had a habit of beating his child whenever he ate food from the house without permission.

The body of the deceased has since been buried while the police in Siavonga have launched a man hunt for Muyunivi.
