PF Aspiring Member of Parliament for Kasama Central Kelvin Sampa yesterday struggled to file his uncertified academic documents to ECZ.
The PF candidate who has been eyeing Kasama central for a long time could not file in his nomination going by the ECZ schedule of nominations.
it took his connection with Statehouse for ECZ to allow him file in his nomination outside the scheduled ECZ time.
A top PF official in Kasama disclosed that the verification of Kelvin’s academical papers will be done later.
Funny enough Kelvin Sampa started with filing his nomination and verification meaning he is unsuitable and a total electoral fraud.
Meanwhile UPND aspiring candidate for Kasama Central Sibongile Mwamba enjoyed a parked and colourful procession to the nomination centre at Kasama boys where she successfuly managed to file in her nomination.
Ms Mwamba after filing in addressed and thanked her supporters friends and family who had accompanied her to witness her filing in of her nomination.
She pledged to address issues affecting the community and the environment following the Vision of President Hakainde Hichlema which is to build a better Zambia for all.
Later UPND Vice President for Administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba led the procession to civic Centre where they went to support Rodrick Chewe who also successfully filed in as UPND Lukashya Parliamentary Candidate.
Ms Mwamba and Me Chewe walked through the town centre with people chanting forward and supporting them.
GBM then led the candidates to Mungwi to support Malole asp parliamentary candidate Chilufya Chikonkolo who also successfully filed in her nomination.
It was at this point that PF cadres tried to block the entourage and after failing threw stones at the members.
GBM with other members braved the stone and went to the PF camp to talk to Christopher yaluma who was among the cadres.
The two spoke and later cadres remained calm.
It is no doubt that the PF were beaten by the colourful and parked procession of the UPND.
GBM said he was proud that UPND adopted credible and youthful candidates while the PF struggled with their old candidates
