Sikota was highly expected to explain what he knows about the signing of Barotseland agreement in 1964.
Sikota is said to be one the persons who were present at the signing and is the one who persuaded the Litunga to sign the agreement.
But when journalists and scores of the people went to his Mimosa farm to hear him speak Thurday morning, Wina could not even come out of his farm house to face the people he had invited.
Instead, someone came forward to tell the people that ‘something has come up’ and Wina won’t address the press or public today.
He said a statement will be issued later to explain why the press conference was cancelled.
Sikota was later said to be in meeting with some senior members of theBarotse Royal Establishmen who included Batuke Imenda.
