New information has emerged that agriculture minister Dora Siliya is behind the arrest of her lover Mark Ode Mubalama, the Congolese crook who is married to Nangula Geingob, the daughter of Namibian President Hage Geingob.
Police sources have told the Watchdog that Siliya snitched on Mubalama when she discovered that he is cheating on her with Monica Musonda, the Zambian girlfriend of Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote. Mubalama is still in police detention at the instigation of Siliya. He is charged with forging a Zambian passport.
Monica Musonda is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Java Foods, a food processing company. She is reputed to be one of the richest women in Zambia.
A lawyer by profession, Monica was working for Dangote Group in Lagos as Director Legal and Corporate Affairs until 2012 when she returned to Zambia to establish Java foods with funding from her lover boss Aliko Dangote. She also facilitated the establishment of Dangote cement in Zambia. Informed sources say Dangote recently paid Monica her retirement package. This is the money that attracted Mark Ode Mubalama to the woman much older than he.
Apparently Monica Musonda only discovered the sexual relationship between Siliya and Mubalama when, three weeks ago, photos of Siliya and Mubalama were splashed all over the internet showing them ‘enjoying’ each other in USA.
Monica began a hen fight with Dora Siliya. Incensed that Mubalama is cheating on her, Siliya decided to inform the immigration officials that Mubalama’s Zambian passport is actually a forgery. She made sure he is jailed and denied police bond.
