Sinyangwe voices out on women representation in decision making

Patriotic Front (PF) Matero Member of Parliament (MP) Faustina Sinyangwe says women have waited too long to have 50 percent representation in decision making positions.

Sinyangwe said it is sad that Zambia has failed to implement the SADC gender protocol that demands women to have an equal share power as men in decision making positions.

She further said it is hard to understand why the nation has failed to ratify the SADC protocol and condemned the trend by male parliamentarians and Government of opposing bill that have the potential to benefit women, adding that females should be given a chance to deliver as they have the potential to develop the nation.
