Six more people have died of a preventable disease Cholera in Mpulungu, Northern Province but theIr MP Freedom Sikazwe was last seen laughing and jogging somewhere on the Copperbelt.
The number of documented cholera cases in the same Mpulungu has gone up to 242 from 186. But these are only those reported to health facilities.
Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya confirmed the deaths and reported cases.
Chilufya has however chained that the number of admissions per day have reduced to 13 from the initial 30 when Mpulungu experienced the outbreak on April 3, this year.
The Cholera outbreak was first recorded on the shores of Lake Tanganyika with a three-year-old being the victim.
